My DH is on Days off and it is very hard to find time to make a card... We have been very busy. But I had to find time today to make a Father's day card for someone special. My step Dad.... He loves westerns and watches a lot of of them on Encore. I'm not sure if it's the commercial free programs he loves more though, lol
I've had the WWW set for awhile and haven't used it yet. When I came across this horseshoe necklace, I thought it would be the perfect time to pull it out. It looks like double stitching on it so I thought I would try my hand once again at stitching on my card. I few mistakes, but hey it's the old west right.. My step Dad also loves my easel cards, so thought I would make an easel card out of it also.
I clear embossed the western paisley from the SU wanted set on the bg. I masked the scene around the cowboy and stamped the cowboy, then I masked the cowboy and stamped a large mountain ( 8" wide ) scene behind it. The cowboy panel is popped up over the orange.
Word play - time to have fun with spelling! (GEM)
G- Green
E- Embossing
M- da "Man" and masking
Thanks for looking

Irene, what a fabulous FD card. Love your cowboy set within a western scene. Terrific coloring all around. I really like your double-row of machine stitching...like the seams on jeans.
